At Forge Chiffon we simply start by selecting your best colours from your unique colour palette, the best cuts for your body shape and we take your personality into consideration. It’s important to show individuality when putting looks together whether it’s with colour, texture, pattern or jewellery. As a stylist I believe that no look is complete until all elements of the style come together perfectly. Remember, accessories are important! When wearing tailored style, accessories are what allows you to stand out uniquely and show your personality, particularly jewellery.

But with tailored styles strong sleek and structured silhouette… which jewellery pairs perfectly to bring elegance? We were confronted with the same question… but a trip to the inspiring culturally-rich Japan gave clarity and so a design with UMUN Jewellery Studio began…

Through immersion into Japanese customs and traditions a fascination and appreciation for the Kimono awakened. The Kimono is best described as wearable art. Perfectly pieced together, layer on layer, creating an elegant style like no other. The kimono has been a traditional form of dress for generations, worn to the most formal of occasions, it can also be transformed to stylish casual wear. Showing off the most beautiful elements of simplicity with its layers of elegant detail. When reflecting on western culture, the tailored suit has many similarities, yet lacks that desired essence of elegance.

Inspiration flows….

Unifying four elements… the sophisticated and oh-so-now tailored suit, an elegant kimono, a touch of sheer fabric for today’s current fashion trend and a passion for natures delicate cherry blossom… the beginning of PETAL emerges.

Petal is a unique design that flows with inspiration, based on simplicity and elegance. Its refined form allows for wearability, endlessly adapting to elevate diverse looks, in particular tailored style as it brings creativity and individuality, but is never ostentatious. Passions united… beautiful luscious fabrics, hand painted worn in layers with the movement of metal, that’s been gently forged, creating a unique flowing shape, capturing the delicate cherry blossoms natural beauty. Designed to be greatly appreciated by those lucky enough to wear it while telling a story of how fine jewellery and fashion come together to complete style.

This is where well-designed fine jewellery allows ones thoughts to wonder, viewing it as it gently moves with the body while feeling the coolness of metal as it delicately touches the skin and how it captures the light with its reflections.
